Affiliated Hospitals and Surgery Centers
Duluth has three area hospitals: St. Luke’s Hospital, St. Mary’s Medical Center, and Miller Dwan Medical Center. St. Luke’s Hospital is located closest to us, being right across the street from our clinic and connected through the skyway system, therefore, we are most easily able to closely monitor our patients’ care when they are admitted to St. Luke’s. However, we do also see patients that choose to go to St. Mary’s and Miller Dwan, as well.
An additional benefit to our pregnant patients is our ability to monitor fetal heart tones from our office computers when one of our patients is admitted to the St. Luke’s Birthing Center. This allows us to closely monitor our patients the entire time they are in labor, even when we are a few minutes away in our clinic.
We perform in-patient surgery at St. Luke’s hospital. For outpatient surgical procedures, we use St. Luke’s Hospital and as well as the Pavilion Surgery Center. Both are connected to our building through the skyway system and have very convenient parking.
