Our Staff
Jayme Heim, MHA
Hello, I am the Clinic Administrator for Northland OB-GYN Associates. I am responsible for keeping all of the clinic functions running smoothly so that we can give the best quality of care to our patients.
I am also the person you should contact if we fail to meet your expectations in any way. We pride ourselves on the personal relationships we form with our patients based on trust and mutual respect, and truly want to know if we do not give you the care that you deserve.
Now, let me introduce you to the rest of our staff.
Coleen, LPN
Coleen is the Supervisor of our Front Office, as well as our Medical Records Department. She keeps the daily patient flow under control and also keeps track of the physicians and their schedules within the practice. She manages the resulting of pap smears, biopsies and mammograms. She has been instrumental with the implementation of our new EMR system.
Heather, LPN
Heather is the Lab Supervisor. Her duties include supervising the CMA's in the lab, keeping the flow of patients through the office running efficiently, and contacting patients with results of lab tests that have been performed. She is also the Quality Improvement nurse within our office.
Nancy, LCSW
Nancy is a licensed social worker and serves as our patient advocate. She assists patients with any questions or issues they may have regarding medical coverage, housing, financial assistance, nutrition, child care, social support, parenting, and many other problem areas.
Triage
Our three registered nurses provide telephone triage from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. They have been specially trained in telephone triage, with a focus on women’s health. They will coordinate care recommendations for patients based on specific office protocols and direct advice from physicians, and communicate those recommendations to patients. They also take care of the prescription refill requests that are faxed in from your pharmacy.
Front Desk
The staff in our front office is your first contact for scheduling office appointments. They will help you schedule the appointment that meets your needs, whether it be for your annual exam or for a problem you may be experiencing. They will also greet you when you arrive for your visit, collect co-pays, and help you through the registration process.
Schedulers
Our schedulers have been specifically trained to help you through the process of scheduling surgery, consulting physician appointments, and any other diagnostic procedures that can not be performed in our office. You can count on them to make your experience with us is as trouble free as possible.
Lab
The staff in our laboratory area will assist you throughout your visit. They will gather all of the information your physician needs to make your visit as productive as possible. They also perform a few basic lab tests in our office, such as pregnancy tests, hemoglobins, and basic urinalysis.
Phlebotomy
We have a phlebotomy team on site so that you do not have to leave the office to have specimens collected for tests your physician may order. Both of our phlebotomists have completed formal phlebotomy training and are well experienced in specimen collection.
Ultrasound
We have four OB-GYN certified sonographers on staff that can perform a number of ultrasounds to assist your physician in diagnosing any problem you may come and see us for. Our equipment is state of the art and interfaces with our electronic medical record so that the ultrasound information goes directly into your chart.
Business Office
The knowledgeable staff in our business office will help you with any insurance issues you may have. They can assist you in determining if services are covered, and can answer any questions you may have about your bill.
Medical Records
If you need copies of your records, the staff in our Medical Records department will make copies and send them anywhere you want them to go. A simple release form is all it takes to start this process in motion. They also make sure that records sent to us from other healthcare centers are entered into your electronic medical record here so that it is available for your provider to review.
